Pupil Premium Funding

Pupil premium is additional government funding provided to schools to help close the attainment gap between pupils from low-income households and their peers. It helps to overcome challenges that pupils might have in terms of language and communication skills, attendance, punctuality and self-confidence. 

The Pupil Premium Grant (PPG) is allocated to all schools for each pupil who is eligible for free school meals and for pupils  who parents are currently  serving  in the armed  forces.
